Having skipped Indiana last year, it was a pleasant surprise to see that Stone would be sending w00tstout 3.0 our way in 2015. If I remember correctly, the inaugural release in 2013 went on to be one of my favorite beers of the year. Here's hoping this collaboration from Drew Curtis, Wil Wheaton and Greg Koch remains the same, if not having gotten substantially better!

Beer Guy here! Hey! Is there a seasonal brew that you absolutely and without a doubt have to try every time it makes its way back to the shelves? Well, for me, it's Sierra Nevada's Fresh Hop IPA from their 5-Beer Harvest Series. I just can't get enough of these New Zealand hops!

Here we go!

The pour on Fresh Hop is amber in color with a wonderfully fluffy, off-white head that shows great retention and lacing throughout.

Loooook.... I've had a few ginger beers in my life, and, I'll be honest, it's not a style I make an effort to seek out. It's just not my thing. That being said, it's Left Hand Brewing, home to Wake Up Dead, Twin Sisters, aaaaand Fade To Black! Give credit where credit is due.
