Spring Blonde by New Belgium
Available in 6pk nr for $8.99 and 12pk nr for $15.99
Beer Style: Belgian Style Ale
Appearance: Pilsner yellow in color, one-inch head, lots of lacing, nice carbonation
Smell: Like a light pilsner and kolsch mix
Taste: Tastes like a light pilsner and kolsch mix, but finishes with some bitter hops
Mouth-feel: Crisp, clean, somewhat refreshing
Overall: Spring Blonde s is the current spring seasonal from New Belgium.
Spring Blonde is a crisp and clean tasting lighter ale. There are some bitter hops found on the finish, but not much. I really classify this more as a kolsch style beer. It is not a bad beer, but there it is not much flavor.
That being said I could see having a few of these while spending some time in the spring outdoors. I like this brew, but I did expect something more flavorful.
Spring Blonde is available in 6pk nr for $8.99 and 12pk nr for $15.99
