Kentucky IPA

Kentucky IPA is another new beer to Wise Guys. It is made from the same company as Kentucky Ale and Kentucky Stout. I think that those beers are so good that this beer should follow right in their footsteps.
Appearance – Kentucky IPA pours a golden straw color, with a thick white head that dissipates rapidly into a thin white head
Smell – Kentucky IPA has a slightly hoppy aroma with a bread-like sweetness
Taste – This IPA starts off with a very hoppy taste at the beginning then goes to a bread-like flavor and ends with hoppy flavor (not too harsh).
Mouth-feel – Kentucky IPA is very thin, but it has lots of carbonation
Overall – This is a very mild IPA. I would recommend Kentucky IPA for someone just trying IPA. I would call this a budget IPA considering the price for a 4-pk is $8.97. (I would buy this again just because of the price.)
Kentucky IPA is not on the top of my IPA list, but I can appreciate it for what it is. If someone came in to try an IPA, I would recommend Kentucky IPA for two reasons: because they are not spending much, yet will still get an IPA that is true to the style.
