Rail Splitter IPA
Appearance – Rail Splitter pours thin with a dark, copper color & a thick off-white head. The head appears so thick, that it seems like it not going anywhere soon!
Smell – Very malty smell with a slight hop aroma
Taste - Slight citrus flavor at first, then transitions into a sweet malt backbone that ends with nice bittering hops--none of which are too pronounced.
Mouth Feel – Rail Splitter is a little thicker than expected from the pour. Very crisp & refreshing. Good carbonation.
Overall – Rail Splitter is a very well balanced beer. Not a “hop bomb,” but a good entry-level beer for someone trying hoppier beers or a milder IPA
Cheers, Beer Guy
