Beer Style: Wheat Ale
American Wheat ales are derived from the German Hefeweizen beer. These ales are unfiltered and light in body. Flavors often include coriander and banana. American versions can be hoppy like Gumball Head or sweeter like Blue Moon.
Appearance: Pours with a very healthy 2 inch head, hazy with a lemon yellow tint
Aroma: Standard wheat beer aromas: spice, coriander, lemon zest, banana
Taste: This is a fairly mild, refreshing wheat beer with more lemon zest than others and a slightly bitter finish
Mouth-feel: Smooth, somewhat creamy mouthfeel
Overall: This brew is one of Bell's most well known beers. It's perfect for a summer day, not high in alcochol or IBU's (abv= 5.8%)
It is only available for spring and summer. Oberon is available in both bottles and cans (If purchasing cans, please be sure to pour to capture all of the flavor)
