Beer Style: Imperial IPA
Appearance: Pours slightly hazy orange with a 1⁄2 inch initial head
Aroma: Pineapple, grapefruit, tropical fruit
Mouth-feel: Thick, dry, full
Taste: Very close to the aromas in taste with grassy/weedy finish and mouth-puckering bitterness
Overall: This is a BEAST of an IPA. Hop Stoopid showcases the typical flavors of the west coast IPA to the Nth degree. The flavors are so intense they must be sipped. Very dominant tropical flavors and very strong alcohol as well.
ABV = 8%
IBU = 102
This is an incredible bargain for what Hop Stoopid delivers and I would rank it up there with any of the Three Floyds IPA bombers.
